I think that it is fairly obvious that this web site is far from a singular effort. I may be a good programmer, but I hardly have time to put this together without help. Below is a list of web sites that I referneced during this sites development. This is list is far from comprehensive.

* WordPress: this free blogging tool powers virtually every section of this site. I did a lot of research before deciding on wordpress as our blogging engine and feel that it has an excellent featrue set, blogging tools and admin.
* Expose: another free tool that we use to power our image gallery. Again, I did a lot of looking before I decided on this tool. I could not find any other tool that has such an elegant interface.
* php.net: great reference for this web programming language.
* Macromedia: I use both their deamweaver and fireworks software for this web sites. I know that photoshop is more popular, but I am barely a novice at graphics and fireworks tools are simple enough for me to use.
* Webmonkey: this is my best reference for html and javascript programming. While I use a lot of different sites for small coding tips, I learned html and javascript from webmonkey.
